Artz Community Social Responsibility (ACSR) is an initiative made and designed to give back to the community. After the big milestone of launching the website, we gladly present what we would like to give back to the community as a token of appreciation.
ACSR is a service that the founders of Artz have agreed to do.
Every now and then Artz will conduct one of the following activities and in no particular order:
1. Community Mint
Community Mint is where the Artz team will mint NFTs from a talented artist, who are struggling to get their mint sold out. We will hold the NFT that we mint for a week and then post it in the market, above the floor price or give it back to the community.
2. Floor Sweep
Floor sweeps is where we would sweep the floors of a collection in our marketplace chosen by the community poll in twitter/discord. The floor price would determine how many NFTs we would sweep. We do it to encourage the talents not to give up on creating and to keep generating new ideas and projects in the NFT world.
Once we sweep the floor, we will give the community the choice to either list it again, give it back to the community or burn it.
3. Competition
Competitions usually last more than a week, but we plan to make it simple and easy, such as giveaways, coding challenges, games, etc.
The prize size will be announced prior to the competition and the winner(s) will be determined by a poll.
4. Charity
What is a better way to show gratitude to our society than assisting and supporting the pillars of our nation as well as aiding those in need? Therefore, we will donate to a charity that will be specified by the community. The amount of Sol that will be donated will be announced before choosing the organization.
5. Launchpad
Artz is a marketplace which believes in the power of one as much as the power of all. Therefore, we will open the window to support promising collections that might have huge potential in the Solana Blockchain and we will launch those projects that makes a difference in the community, fit with our roadmap and match our goals.
6. Rug Pull Aid
We are sure that most of the people in the NFT world have suffered from a form of deceit in the ecosystem, also known as a Rug Pull. We have been there too and it is not a good feeling. We don’t wish anyone to fall in this situation.
These cases don’t represent most creators in our community, just a few bad apples but as it can have a severe impact on those affected, we are dedicated to aid some of the victims with the help of the community. We will go through all the cases, one by one, with the community leaders and ask the Artz community which project needs help more in order to announce the aided project.
There is more than one way of Rug Pull, we will try to point out a few examples below:
a. Where they take all the money from the buyers and don’t give anything in return.
b. Where they try to market their scam NFT and sell other useless NFT.
c. Where they try to market a stolen art that they don't have the rights to but it is only found out after few collectors bought it and at that time the seller can no longer be contacted.
d. Where their NFT collection sells out, but they do follow through with the roadmap, so the community looses interest in future sales.
Artz is committed to deliver the best services to the community. That’s why we engage with and give back to the community, so we grow stronger together every week. Therefore, we will decide on one of the categories mentioned above, which meets our goals. Once the Artz Marketplace grows, we can have multiple ACSR at the same time to achieve higher goals.
Some of the decisions will be made by the Artz team or using a poll until a DAO is created, then we would leave the decisions to be made by the DAO.
